Helena Tynell is a Finnish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the school of the arts in Helsinki between, 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the Finnish glass company Riihimäki Lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960, m (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. She has worked as a freelance designer for Flygsfors glassworks, BEGA Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg and Fostoria glass.
