1 of the 6 Faceted Crystal and Gilt Sconces by Kinkeldey, Germany, 1970s can be placed on hold for 24 Hours.
A set of brass plated frames and thick diamond crystal sconces by the famed maker, Kinkeldey. Two-light sources. Very elegant light fixtures, comfortable with all decor periods. The crystals are meticulously cut in such a way that radiate the light of the bulbs in different directions. The light fixtures are executed to a very high standard: All metal parts are brassed, even the lamp sockets and screws.
Excellent condition. Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use. The sconces can be disassembled and the crystals individually wrapped for easy transport.
Kinkeldey is German manufacturer of high-end lighting fixtures. The company attracted international attention when they won the prestigious IF Design Award in 1969 with a chandelier fitted with prism cut crystals. During the 1970s Kinkeldey produced a number of variations on this award winning model, like the one offered here. Although these lamps show the same quality as fixtures of companies like Bakalowits, Lobmeyer and Palwa, the Kinkeldey models tend to be more modern in their design approach.
