This exquisite Art Nouveau mushroom shaped lamp is by the celebrated French glasswork studio Daum which was founded in 1878 in Nancy, France. The lamp is signed ‘DAUM, NANCY’.
Crafted from wheel-carved and acid-etched glass, this lamp is brown and beige in colour with beautiful patterns in brown, dark brown, black and green.
In its style, the lamp is clearly French Art Nouveau. A statement piece in the room.
Daum is one of the only crystal manufacturers to employ the ‘pâte de verre’ (glass paste) process for art glass and crystal sculptures.
