A large, glass vase named “Kantarelli,” designed by the acclaimed Finnish artist and designer Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala.
The vases distinctive, rugged appearance, which resembles an iceberg or frozen landscape, was directly inspired by the natural wilderness of Lapland, Finland, where Wirkkala spent a significant amount of time.
The vase is created using a complex cut and blown-molded technique with clear glass.
