Heinz Goll was a versatile Austrian sculptor, painter, and printmaker born in Klagenfurt. Known for his distinctive mid-century and brutalist metalworks, Goll’s designs often feature heavy, textured cast bronze or brass with geometric shapes and organic elements. Later in his life, he moved to Bogotá, Colombia, where he continued to heavily influence the art scene until his passing in 1999. Today, his openwork brutalist candelabras from the 1960s and 1970s are highly sought-after collector’s items in the vintage design world.
