Square Bubble Glass Flush Mounts by Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg, manufactured in Germany in 1960. The bubble glass gives a wonderful glow. The square glass is mounted on a brass colored metal back plate.

Can be used as flush mounts or wall lights.

Helena Tynell is a finish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the school of the arts in Helsinki, circa 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the finish glass company Riihimäki Lasi. Her work has been exhibited from 1954-1960, m (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. She has worked as a freelance designer for Flygsfors glassworks, BEGA Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg and Fostoria glass.
