1 of the 3 Extra Large Massive Glass Brass Flush Mounts in the Style of Kalmar

Unique large and elegant glass flush mount in the style of J.T. Kalmar, manufactured in mid century, circa 1970 (late 1960s or early 1970s. wonderful high-end light fixtures with brass detail and 16 thick textured blown glass sheets, 1969.
The glass sheets of the light fixtures are made of tiny glass shards which are molded into the glass during its manufacture giving the piece a heavy ice appearance which refracts the light, filling a room with a soft, warm glow.

Handmade and therefore a unique pieces from the late 1960s.
