Large Mushroom Table Lamp by Peill Putzler, 1970s

This unique Mid-Century Modern table lamp from the 1970s was designed by Peill & Putzler. It has a mushroom design made of hand-blown Murano glass and brass fixture. The glass was made to show its beautiful form. Both the colors of soft satin glass and the liquid, organic shapes make this lamp deserve a unique owner. Peill & Putzler produced these lamps in many different shapes and sizes. This one is one of the largest specimens. The lamp has a light bulb in a glass base, and a separately lit lampshade knife.
