Rare and important series of colorless cut crystal glasses featuring a star-shaped base with decorative diamond, bevel, pearl, and rim cuts throughout.
Tommy Glassware is one of Saint-Louis most timeless collections since its creation in 1928. The beloved Tommy motif debuted in 1928 for use at a royal luncheon honoring British soldiers (known as ‘Tommies’). Each piece is mouth blown and hand cut crystal. It gained notoriety when used in a royal banquet at Versailles in 1938. From Saint-Louis, the oldest crystal manufactury in France founded in 1586 and a Royal Glassworks since 1767. Handmade in France.
The Tommy collection has expanded to be suitable for many settings while holding on to the timeless design which made it iconic.
