Orange Ceramic Wall Lights by Hustadt Keramik, Germany, 1970

Set of two orange ceramic wall lights in Fat Lava style. Manufactured by Hustadt Leuchten Keramik, Germany in the 1970s.

The style of the glaze is called ‘Fat Lava’. Which means the glaze is thick on some parts, like lava.
A typical way to finish ceramic in mid-century West-Germany, Europe.
The glaze has an orange color which is applied on a brown base.

We used gold light bulbs (see images), but silver light bulbs are also very stylish..
