Stunning Kinkeldey Chandelier, 1970 can be placed on hold for 24 Hours.
This modernist iceglass chandelier with 30 glasses was designed by the Kinkeldey design team during the 1970s, and manufactured in Germany. A very elegant Kinkeldey chandelier, it is comfortable with all decor periods. The pattern of the glass diverts the light of the bulbs in different directions and gives a romantic atmosphere. Two of the same chandeliers are rare to find.
The chandelier has six E14 bulbs and one E27 bulb. Heavy quality and in perfect condition. Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use. The chandelier can be disassembled and the ice glasses will be individually wrapped for easy transport.
Kinkeldey is German manufacturer of high-end lighting fixtures. The company attracted international attention when they won the prestigious IF Design Award in 1969 with a chandelier fitted with prism cut crystals. During the 1970s Kinkeldey produced a number of variations on this award winning model, like the one offered here. Though these lamps show the same quality as fixtures of companies like Bakalowits, Lobmeyer and Palwa, the Kinkeldey models tend to be more modern in their design approach.
