Unique pair of Large Scheurich Ceramic Lamps with New Custom Lampshades

A rare pair of 2 ceramic table lamps by Scheurich Ceramics, Germany 1970s. Sculptural piece, made of handmade ceramic with a new custom made matching lamp shade by René Houben.

The lamp is in perfect vintage condition. The lamp is offered with new embroidery shade.

Scheurich Keramik is a German ceramics manufacturer founded in 1928. Initially a wholesaler of glass and ceramics, the company began producing household ceramics in 1948. By the 1950s and 60s, it became famous for its decorative vases, bowls, and lamps, featuring bold designs and ever-changing glazes. Designers like Heinz Siery and Oswald Kleudgen played key roles in shaping its style. Today, Scheurich focuses on plant ceramics and continues to release seasonal collections. In 2021, it merged with Soendgen Keramik and Formwerk to form the Scheurich Group.
